WINTER IN THE GREENBELT: Impact Approach

THE GOAL

The Greenbelt Foundation wanted to inspire audiences to get outside and connect with the Greenbelt even in the winter. In the summer people hop on their bikes, enter the trails, set up their tents and thoroughly enjoy outdoor recreation opportunities, but less people get out in the colder months. Our goal was to encourage people to get outside in the winter and explore the Greenbelt.

OUR SOLUTION

In order to encourage audiences to get outside we needed to show what activities were available to them in the winter and make sure they look accessible and fun! We settled on using character-driven short films to inspire audiences through the stories of those who already get outside in the winter and can advocate for how they do it and why they think it's important.

CREATIVE APPROACH

We connected with people  passionate about both outdoor recreation and encouraging others to get outside. Through their personal stories we demonstrated themes of health, connection and access to connect and inspire audiences. In addition to the short films, we created a photo deck so that the Greenbelt could push out their message on social media.
