We supported Green Communities Canada on a nation-wide campaign to demonstrate the impact of community events made possible through the Living Cities Canada Fund.

LIVING CITIES CANADA CAMPAIGN: Impact Approach

THE GOAL

Green Communities Canada wanted to demonstrate the impact of the projects they made possible through their Living Cities Canada Fund to funders, organizations and participants. They wanted to capture diverse voices and projects from across Canada without going over budget.

OUR SOLUTION

We presented the idea to capture the stories of event organizers, volunteers and community partners from each of the selected events in order to diversify voices and four outputs per event. GCC had already hired videographers to film at three different locations. We connected with the videographers to provide shot lists, interview questions and a style guide.

CREATIVE APPROACH

We created a total of 13 videos (12 character profiles from events and one 2024 recap) that GCC could use to amplify their messaging on social media and in reports. We kept the videos short and engaging to maintain retention rates and demonstrate the larger impact these events have to funders. The campaign was a huge success.

"North Country Media House worked with us in 2024 to create a series of 13 short videos highlighting green infrastructure projects that we were supporting. They were professional and timely with the work, and the videos were produced and edited to meet our needs and goals. Regular meetings and communications ensured that the project remained on track and successful. Thank you to North Country Media House for their high-quality video production services!"
