There's an almost indescribable feeling of ancient slowness in Northern Ontario. It's the rugged landscapes, the pristine wilderness and the people. We wanted audiences to FEEL Northern Ontario. We wanted them to feel the calm of each paddle stroke on a lake or river, the rush of flying down a winding trail, the connection when you cast a line on a misty fall morning and the feeling of calm that overtakes you when you exhale and breath it all in.

We created a concept based on the idea that when you live and work in the North, you have the ability to prioritize these moments we all seek out. We chose slow shots with fast cuts that allow audiences to immerse themselves into a world and then transition into the next. Our sound design put audiences in our locations. The emotions on our characters faces made them imagine they were there.
